Your store works. The system behind it is losing you money.
A system architecture and governance partner. We migrate you off Shopify onto a platform you fully own — then address three technical sources of leakage, contractually, every month.
We don’t increase your revenue. We remove the technical reasons you’re losing it.
The money leak
Most stores don’t collapse. They leak — in ways nobody measures.
You already feel the symptoms. Here’s what they actually cost you.
01
You’re making $10K+ decisions on data nobody trusts
Every month, you allocate budget based on numbers from GA4, Shopify, and ad platforms that don’t agree. That’s not a reporting inconvenience — it’s thousands in misallocated spend, every single month.
02
The revenue you don’t earn because you’re afraid to move
Launches delayed, pricing tests skipped, campaigns postponed — not because the ideas are bad, but because nobody trusts the system to handle change safely. That paralysis has a price, and it compounds.
03
$2,000–$5,000/month in apps that overlap and conflict
Each app solved a problem once. Together they created a stack that costs more than you realize — in subscription fees, in developer hours spent patching conflicts, and in customers lost to friction nobody can trace.
$40K–$120KEstimated annual leak · $1M brand
It never appears as a line item. It shows up as margin pressure, slower launches, stalled growth, and revenue you assumed you would have by now.
The common response is to add more tools, hire more vendors, and coordinate harder — which makes the leak worse.
Your system doesn’t need more layers. It needs one technical authority who finds where the money goes and closes the leak.
What VOKKA actually is
An owned platform, governed by one technical authority, with a clean exit path.
You move off Shopify onto a system that belongs to you — operated under a single governance contract. Three concrete commitments define how it works. Each is written into the Service Agreement, not just promised on a call.
01
A platform you own
Source code, database, and the server it runs on are registered in your company’s name from day one. Not licensed access. Not a walled garden. If you sell the business, the platform goes with it. If you want to hire another developer, they can read the code and operate it. The technical stack is PHP 8.2+ on your VPS — a standard, portable foundation any senior backend developer can run.
02
Governance, not project work
One person owns the entire system — the same person who sets it up runs it long-term. When tracking goes off, one person fixes it. When a launch needs to ship before a deadline, one person owns that it ships cleanly. When something breaks at 9 PM on a Friday, there is one number to call. No five vendors each owning a slice. No handoffs, no “that’s not my part of the stack.”
03
A clean exit path
Termination clause: full ownership transfer at any time, no migration fee, no data hostage. Continuity clause: if VOKKA stops operating — for any reason — you keep the platform, the code, and documentation detailed enough for another backend developer to take over. Lock-in isn’t soft-enforced. It’s structurally impossible.
Proof, not pitch
The platform is real, tested, and measured.
Most ecommerce vendor pitches stop at adjectives. Here is the evidence behind the claim.

How it works
Clarity first. Decision next. Execution only after.
One linear path from first touch to a system you fully own. No surprise scope, no hidden phases.
01
Clarity Check — free, 48-hour responseYou submit the form below. We review your store from publicly visible signals (apps, theme, scripts, performance, tracking surface) and send back a 2–3 page diagnostic. Honest read of whether your problem is structural or tactical. If we’re not a fit, we say so clearly.
02
Architecture Audit (optional) — $900, 5 business daysIf you want a deeper read, the Audit gives you five documented deliverables: App Stack Analysis, Tracking Integrity Check, Performance Baseline, Architecture Risk Assessment, Migration Readiness Score. Branded PDF report. The fee is credited toward migration setup if you proceed within 90 days.
03
Decision ConversationWe review findings together. Not a sales call — a structured decision. You leave with a clear yes/no on whether migration makes sense and what it would look like. If the answer is no, the conversation ends respectfully.
04
Migration — $15,000, 30 daysYour Shopify store keeps running normally the entire time. We build, test, and validate the new system in parallel. Cutover happens in one controlled DNS switch after full validation. Customers do not notice the transition.
05
Ongoing Governance — $1,200/month, 6-month minimumWe remain the single technical authority for your system: monitoring, patching, performance, tracking integrity, scoped changes (up to 10 hours/month), monthly System Review report, 4-hour SLA on critical incidents. One accountable party, end to end.

Fit matters
This is built for one specific kind of store. If you’re not it, we’ll say so.
VOKKA solves a structural problem. If yours is tactical, you’ll get a better outcome from a different vendor — and we’ll point you to one.
Good fit
Best-fit profile
$500K–$2M annual revenue on Shopify
$5K–$50K/month in active paid acquisition
15+ installed apps with functional overlap
Simple changes take days instead of hours
Multiple people touch the system but nobody owns it end-to-end
You’ve hit limits no Shopify app or theme change can fix
Not a fit
Not the right move if
Under $500K revenue and still growing simply — the math of ownership doesn’t favor you yet
Above $3M with an in-house technical team — you need tools, not a governance partner
Content and editorial flexibility is your primary product — go headless instead
You want a redesign, not a structural shift
You want the cheapest developer, not the most accountable one
You’re not yet running paid acquisition

FAQ
Questions serious store owners usually ask.
Understanding the model
What exactly is VOKKA?+
A system architecture and governance partner for US Shopify brands at $500K–$2M. Concretely: we migrate you off Shopify onto a proprietary PHP 8.2+ platform deployed on a VPS in your name, then act as the single technical authority responsible for how it runs. You own the source code, the data, and the infrastructure from day one.
Who runs VOKKA?+
Aleksandar Sekulić, Founder & System Architect. A software engineer with a computer science degree and a decade of hands-on work in ecommerce systems. VOKKA exists because those years made the pattern unmistakable: the storefront runs clean, but the system behind it quietly leaks capital every month. The platform clients migrate onto — 1,135 automated tests, 61 core services, 433 documented API routes — is the infrastructure I couldn’t find when I was on the other side of the same problem.
How is VOKKA different from an agency or in-house developer?+
Agencies sell hours. Developers execute tickets. Neither takes structural responsibility for how the system works as a whole. VOKKA implements one architecture, governs it, and remains the single accountable party for its integrity over time. The comparison isn’t “$1,200/month vs $8,000/month for a developer.” It’s “bounded architectural governance vs unbounded cost of nobody owning the architecture.”
What is the Architecture Audit?+
A paid, standalone analysis ($900) that documents where your current system is costing you money. Five deliverables in five business days: App Stack Analysis, Tracking Integrity Check, Performance Baseline, Architecture Risk Assessment, and a Migration Readiness Score. Branded PDF report. The fee is credited toward migration setup if you proceed within 90 days. See full Audit details →
Migration and transition
What happens during migration?+
Your Shopify store keeps running normally for the entire 30-day window. We build, test, and validate the new system in parallel. The cutover happens in one controlled DNS switch after everything has been validated. There is no period where your store is down or half-working. Customers do not notice the transition.
What about my current apps — Klaviyo, reviews, loyalty programs?+
Every critical integration gets evaluated during the Clarity Check or Audit. Essential functionality — email marketing, reviews, analytics — is either natively built into the platform or directly integrated at the API level. Instead of 15+ Shopify apps each injecting their own scripts, you get clean, server-side integrations that you actually own. Some apps disappear because the platform handles that functionality natively. Some stay as direct API connections. Nothing critical is lost.
How aggressive is the 30-day timeline really?+
Honest answer: 30 days is the standard for stores that fit the ICP cleanly. For early clients we plan to 45 internally and deliver in 30. If your stack has unusual subscription complexity, B2B logic, or non-standard fulfillment, the kickoff scope review may extend the window before contract signature — never after. We do not start a clock we cannot deliver against.
Investment and ownership
How much does this cost over 3 years?+
Architecture Audit: $900 one-time. Migration setup: $15,000 one-time. Ongoing governance: $1,200/month with a 6-month minimum. Over 3 years, total cost of ownership is typically lower than Shopify Plus plus app subscription stack plus developer/agency time — and you own the system completely. No transaction fees. No platform rent. The longer you operate, the more the economics favor ownership over rental.
What if the Audit says I don’t need to migrate?+
A real possibility, and we’ll tell you clearly. The Audit is designed to give you an honest assessment. If your system is fundamentally sound and just needs targeted fixes, we’ll say so — in writing, with specific recommendations. You keep the report. Any competent developer can act on it. The audit fee is not contingent on you proceeding with migration.
What if I want to stop working with VOKKA later?+
You keep everything. Source code, infrastructure, data. If you discontinue governance, we transfer all deployment authority and access to you, and your store keeps running exactly as it is. There is no lock-in. The Service Agreement specifies this explicitly in Section 4 (Platform Ownership) and Section 9 (Termination), including continuity language that ensures continued access to the core source code even if VOKKA ceases operations.
Platform choices
Why not Shopify Plus?+
Plus solves Shopify’s feature ceiling — checkout flexibility, regions, B2B, flow editing. It does not solve the drag around Shopify — app sprawl, tracking fragmentation, no single system owner. If your problem is the structural drag, paying more to stay inside the Shopify model does not fix it. Migration to a system you own is the structural answer; Plus is the tactical one. Both are legitimate. They solve different problems.
Why not Hydrogen, Next.js, or a headless stack?+
Headless is excellent when content and editorial flexibility are the product. For transactional ecommerce at $500K–$2M, headless typically adds two things: a second team to maintain the front-end, and a wider seam between storefront and commerce backend where bugs hide. VOKKA is one owned backend with its own storefront, checkout, and API surface. One system, one owner, one performance baseline. If you need Hydrogen-class editorial flexibility, we will tell you — VOKKA is not the right answer for content-first brands.
What does governance actually include, month to month?+
Monthly governance at $1,200 covers: 24/7 system health monitoring (uptime, performance, security, backups); weekly automated regression runs against your live instance; security patches and platform updates applied in a staging-first workflow; performance review and optimization up to 10 hours per month; monthly tracking integrity reconciliation across Shopify, GA4, and Meta; incident response with a 4-hour SLA for critical issues; up to 10 hours per month of scoped change requests at no additional cost; a written monthly System Review report; and a dedicated Slack channel with 24-hour business-day response. Work beyond 10 hours or outside scope is scoped and priced separately.
Can I see the platform running before I commit?+
A public demo store is being prepared and will be available shortly. In the meantime, the Architecture Audit gives you five documented deliverables against your own store, which is far more useful than any demo. We can also walk you through platform internals on the Audit results call as part of the same engagement. (10+ pages, fictional brand) — delivered to your inbox in under two minutes.
